What have you been doing in 2018?
Noah started an ocean friendly surf wax business with $20 as part of a school project.
Many classmates decided to sell baked goods, but Noah thought about creating his own surf wax as he is a surfer.
After a bit of research into how surf wax is made, he thought there were too many chemicals in the process. He then decided to make his wax environmentally friendly!
There are three ingredients for Noahs wax - Coconut oil, Kangaroo Island Beeswax and Passion!
He's even started to create wax for both warm and cold water! Cold Sticky Pronk, being the original for Adelaide water temperatures (15-20 degrees), and a Warm Sticky Pronk for 18-25 degree waters.
Noah has branched out from just selling to his friends and from his house. He now has his surf wax sold in a few shops!
He is committed to keeping the wax natural and plastic free!
What has been your motivation?
My motivation was to raise awareness of the products we used daily with out thinking and give people a choice and to do well in my school project.
Being a keen surfer, Noah wanted to make an positive impact with his surf wax!
Why is the environment important to you?
I like surfing and I dont want that to change, I don't want the ocean to be filled with chemicals as then we cant enjoy it.

Any plans for the future?
I want to keep on making my wax, and get the message out to more and more people that they have choices. Also I want to continue my sporting hobbies of swimming and surf club and hope for some state medals this 2019.
How do you feel about being a Youth Ambassador for Clean Up Australia?
Very privileged, to be asked for such a great role. I can't believe it!
Why do you think Youth Ambassadors are important?
Because children can have great ideas too, to be listened to and be able to speak about what is important to us for our future.
