COVID-19 & YOUR SAFETY

In light of recent developments and restrictions around travel and outdoor non-essential gatherings, we have taken precautionary measures.

All Clean Up events scheduled to occur before the end of May 2020 have been automatically postponed.

Additionally, Clean Up Australia will not approve registrations for events scheduled to take place prior to the lifting of applicable group gathering restrictions.

To ensure compliance, Clean Up materials will not be provided until restrictions are relaxed. Should a Site Supervisor decide to proceed with their Clean Up in contravention of this advice, they will not be covered by the insurances extended to approved locations.

We have automatically postponed events scheduled to occur prior the end of May 2020. In anticipation that these precautions are likely to remain in place for some time, we will monitor site registrations and, in consultation with site supervisors, volunteers and local government, take appropriate action.

If you are intending to host a Clean Up at a later point in the year, please contact us at cleanup@cleanup.com.au to register your interest. We can then stay in touch with you and support your efforts as events unfold.

The health and safety of our volunteers, and of the broader community, is of paramount importance to us. We ask for your cooperation and caution in these difficult circumstances. For more information about limits on public gatherings please read this.

We look forward to welcoming you at a Clean Up Australia event as soon as it is safe to do so but in the interim, please follow advice and stay at home unless you are:

 * Going to work or education (if you are unable to do so at home)

* Shopping for essential supplies such as groceries, return home without delay

*Going out for personal exercise in the neighbourhood, on your own or with one other

* Attending medical appointments or compassionate visits
