First day of Summer and this Willy wagtail is doing a defensive dance around it's patch at Vineyard Creek.smile

I spotted this Willy wagtail when walking at Vineyard Creek this morning and moved slowly as not to frighten. No fright in this little one, got the full feathered display and a beady eyed glare letting me know I was passing through it's territory.

Vineyard Creek - habitat to this Golden Water Skink

A local Golden Water Skink - soaking up residual heat from an old abandoned railway track that crosses Vineyard Creek. 

Remember to bring your Re-usable Water Bottle or Keeper Cup :)

Please remember to bring your Re-usable Water Bottle or Keeper Cup, there is a water refill station right near us at Western Sydney University Rydalmere Campus that is accessible to the Vineyard Creek - Burramatta Clean Up Australia Day Crew :)

This site - now so peaceful and lovely, breathes free of choking litter, your gift of care for Country - Brillant Cleanup Australia Day. Thank you everyone for a day that was a lot of fun with a wonderful worthwhile outcome.
