Vineyard Creek - Burramatta

By Paula Coleman Join Me

Vineyard Creek is a tributary to Parramatta River with remnant natural Flora and Fauna, including mangroves at the mouth and large canopy trees along the banks, home to eels, turtles, water dragons, birds and possibly even micro bats. A little gem in our midst that suffers from the wash of rubbish along it's waterways.
Please help this mini green sanctuary breath more easily by having a pleasant day at this lovely locale removing the scourge of plastic from it's midst.

Willy wagtail shaking it's tail feathers at Vineyard Creek.

Saturday 1st Dec

First day of Summer and this Willy wagtail is doing a defensive dance around it's patch at Vineyard

One mighty little bird - Dancing Willy wagtail - Vineyard Creek.

Saturday 1st Dec

I spotted this Willy wagtail when walking at Vineyard Creek this morning and moved slowly as not to frighten. No fright in this little one, got the full feathered display and a beady eyed glare letting me know I was passing through it's territory.
