Riverfest Clean Up at Rydalmere

By Kellie Darley Join Me

Riverfest is the premier, annual community festival for ‘Our Living River’, celebrating the Parramatta River and all of our local waterways that flow into it. It runs from Thursday 17th October to Sunday 27 October.

As part of Riverfest, we will be doing a rubbish clean up at Rydalmere Wharf and Eric Primrose Reserve. We will meet at the playground and focus on cleaning up the foreshore from the playground to the wharf. It will be low tide and there are a number of 'beaches' full of litter that we can access and clean up as well as clean up rubbish in the park.

This event is kid-friendly and we would love to see lots of families join us as we help make Parramatta River swimmable again!

Bags, gloves and pickers will be available for us. But if you have your own, it would be great if you brought them.
