Let's join together and clean up a beautiful section of our local greenery (Gore Cove Reserve), this Clean Up Australia Day!
As Gore Cove Reserve is the last reserve before Berry's Creek runs into the harbour, it is important that this is keep clear of any litter or debris (and also, of course because of the ecological significance of the reserve.)
Due to having a lot of strong winds and storms this time of the year, a lot of rubbish unfortunately comes down from neighboring houses and streets and washes into the reserve.
We will start at Holloway Reserve ( end of Vista Street, Greenwich) and do a sweep through, finishing at Smoothey Park.
