Barrabool Road Stormwater Basins

We are a small local community Environment Action Group who conduct an annual event to clean the litter and fugitive construction-waste material from the Barrabool Road stormwater retaining basins and their adjacent easements and park areas in Barrabool Hills.  Please join us and help clean up our local neighborhood.

However, if your party includes children or anyone with restricted mobility, please consider joining another Clean Up site as this area includes unstable surfaces, steep slopes, a deep drain, water reeds in dirty water and mud, and other hazards which unfortunately make it unsuitable for young children and people with limited mobility.

Our event typically runs for 2-3 hours, commencing at 10:45am in the car park of St Luke's Uniting Church Highton, opposite the largest stormwater basin in our Clean Up site.
