Buckingham Reserve Friends of Kororoit Creek

By Jodie Williams Join Me

We will be getting together on Sunday 3rd March from10am to 12pm to help clean up our beloved Kororoit Creek.

Meet us near the playground at Buckingham Reserve. Stay for 10 minutes or as long as you can spare, love to see you!

Join us for a BBQ to celebrate all the good work we do afterwards - kindly cooked by our friends at Brimbank City Council, Environment Department.

Wear sturdy shoes and long pants, bring sunscreen, gloves, a hat and some water to keep yourself hydrated and protected.

Tell your neighbours and bring your friends! Let's make a difference to our little part of paradise from Buckingham Reserve to the Arthur Beachley footbridge. Look forward to seeing you there :)

My Updates

A little bit of care for your own patch makes a big difference!

Sunday 17th Feb

We love this quote by Jane Goodall! If it were up to one person, one group, one country, cleaning up our planet is a big job but if we look at the difference we can make locally we know it is possible with your help!

In 2018, the Friends of Kororoit Creek planted 16,500 plants and spent 7000 volunteer hours working on the creek. Every hour makes a difference and every person who helps is an important part of helping our environment recover in the west.

See you at Buckingham Reserve on the 3rd at 10 am for Clean Up Australia Day!
