Join local families in helping improve the health of Parramatta River by removing a heap of rubbish along the foreshore at Silverwater Park.
It will be low tide for this clean up so some of us can get closer to the river on the sand, while others can pick up rubbish along the walkway and rocks.
There's a playground at Silverwater Park, good for young kids. As well as toilets, BBQs and picnic shelters. Plus, there is lots of on-site parking and the park links up with the cycleway down to Blaxland Riverside Park.
If driving, turn left onto Clyde Street (heading south) after Silverwater Bridge and then take the 1st left again into a carpark. Then follow this road under Silverwater Bridge to another carpark and park here. This is Silverwater Park and we will be set up near the playground.
