Sodastream

SodaStream, the World's #1 sparkling water brand, and an outspoken opponent of single use beverage containers, is proud and excited to support Clean Up Australia, aligning with our core goals to reduce beverage container rubbish in our environment.

This partnership will see SodaStream and Clean Up collaborate on core initiatives like a national container refund scheme, precycling and community engagement during Clean Up Australia Day.

Return and Earn

Return and Earn is the largest litter reduction initiative introduced in NSW, which commenced on 1 December 2017. Drink container litter makes up 44 per cent of the volume of all litter across NSW. Return and Earn is reducing the number of drink containers in the litter stream and is helping to meet the goal of reducing the volume of litter in NSW by 40 per cent by 2020. Enthusiastic Return and Earners have reached a new milestone, rocketing to 1.5 billion containers returned across NSW just three months on from reaching the 1 billion mark.
