Youth Resources

If you are a high school, university, TAFE, Scout, Girl Guide or other Youth Group - you will need to register as a YOUTH Group.
This allows you to choose the number of adult sized bags your group will need and ensures you also receive paperwork to help you run a safe location for your group.

First Step is to take a look around you and find a location where rubbish is accumulating. Best place to start is your local park, bushland, beach or waterway.

Then register your location as a YOUTH clean Up - telling us how many bags your group will need.

Clean Up will then send your free kit to the address you nominate.
Materials you can expect to receive are:

  • 10-20 clean up bags [half white and half yellow - the yellow are for recyclables]
  • 4-5 pairs of gloves
  • A sharps container [if requested]
  • A hi-vis vest [a high fashion safety accessory that helps people identify the Site Supervisor
  • Paperwork kit [everything you need to run a safe location] + promotional posters and volunteer certificates

If you need extra clean up materials or want to purchase branded merchandise, you can do so via our on-line store

If you need additional copies of the paperwork, you can also download:

  • Site Guide - an important source of information for planning and organising your event
  • Risk Warning Poster - which must be displayed at a visible point where volunteers register
  • Volunteer registration form - unless you are a school, scout or Girt Guide Unit - you will need to ask your volunteers to sign in and out of yoursite
  • End of Clean Up Report - this information is really valuable, so we encourage your group to complete. It lets us know about yuopr location and the rubbish your group removed. This data forms the basis of our annual Rubbish report and is shared with organisations like the CSIRO for national rubbish hotspot mapping
  • Accident Incident Form - Just in case someone is injured at your site
  • Promotional Posters - to help you spread the word about your location
  • Volunteer certificate - recording our thanks to you and your volunteers
