Workplace and Matched Giving

Workplace giving is a simple and effective way of giving back to your community through your employer's payroll system. 

By donating $20 a month through workplace giving, it only costs the employee $13.70* and Clean Up Australia will receive the full $20.  (*Based on marginal tax rate of 32.5%). 

If this donation is matched by the employer, this increases to an amazing $40 a month.

How does it work?

Workplace giving allows employees to make a regular tax deductible donation through their employer's payroll system.  All donations over $2 are tax-deductible meaning that the employee gives less and the charity receives more.

In addition, your business could double the employee's generous contribution through a Matched Giving program, which doubles the difference Clean Up can make.  Employers match employee donations received dollar for dollar either through workplace giving or single gifts.

How can you get involved?

Ask your employer's payroll department if they currently have a workplace giving system and fill out one of their workplace giving authorisation forms.
