230 businesses participated in a Business Clean Up on or prior to 27 February this year.  Another 120 are signed up to do Clean Up between now and May.

By participating in a Business Clean Up, you are doing your part to promote a clean, healthy and sustainable environment. It's also a fantastic way to be seen as a community leader and engage with your staff, customers and local community. Previous Business Clean Up Days have proven to be excellent team building events and great for staff morale.

2018 Business Clean Up Day is on 27 February, but you can opt to do your clean up on any day of the year that suits you.

Follow these easy steps to register for a day that best suits your Business Clean Up:

  • Locate a site. Does your workplace need rubbish removal? Or perhaps a nearby beach, park or other community area?
  • Register  your Business Clean Up Site
  • Receive our Clean Up Kit
  • Look the part in Clean Up Australia merchandise  
  • Start organising your Clean Up. See our checklist  for a comprehensive list of things to do. 
  • Promote your Clean Up Site within your organisation to attract volunteers
  • Enjoy the Day.

We ask organisations to pay $150 (GST inclusive) to participate which includes the Clean Up Kit  and contributes to funding the much needed materials for community volunteers on Clean Up Australia Day.

If the official Business Clean Up Day does not suit your organisation, you can nominate an alternative day during the year for your Clean Up.

Become a 2018 Business Supporter

Becoming a Business Supporter of Clean Up Australia is an excellent way to tick of Corporate Social Responsibilies while encouraging your teams to be actively involved in actions that result is a cleaner and more healthy local environment. With your organisation's support, Clean Up Australia is able to provide invaluable materials to communities Australia-wide, enabling them to participate in their Clean Up events.

There are five categories of Business Supporter : Major, Champion, Platinum, Gold and Silver, each with associated benefits.

YOU is a fundraising initiative inviting individuals and businesses to join us as a major community sponsor of Clean Up Australia Day. As a non-government funded, not-for-profit organisation, we rely on donations from YOU. 100% of the money raised by YOU will go towards funding the costs of materials that are provided free of charge to Clean Up Australia Day community volunteers. Find out more
