About Our Site

Join us to help clean up, fix up and conserve the environment at Boondall Wetlands Reserve. Participants at this site will walk 2km through the wetlands collecting rubbish from creek banks, mangroves, and walking tracks, and enjoy a sausage sizzle. All children must be registered and accompanied and directly supervised by a parent/adult guardian at all times. Essentials on the day: secure, fully enclosed walking shoes that can get very wet and muddy (or bring gumboots), wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, sun-smart clothing (lightweight long sleeves and long pants), sunscreen, insect repellent, plenty of drinking water in a reusable water bottle. The event will go ahead in light rain, please bring a raincoat if required. Gloves are supplied, but feel free to bring your own sturdy gardening gloves if you prefer.
